You’ve Done your research. Spent Hours in Self-reflection.

You think you’re in the club but want confirmation
A neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, diagnostic Autism and ADHD assessment can give you the confirmation you’ve been looking for as well as additional insight into how your brain is wired.
Diagnostic Assessments
We will meet a total of two times to complete the assessment. These appointments can be all in person, all virtual, or a combination of the two, as needed.
-
I offer a free, 15 minute consultation to anyone interested in a diagnostic assessment. We can briefly discuss your reasons for wanting to be assessed, and will determine if what I offer aligns with what you need. We will also discuss any accommodations you might need to get through the process.
After the consultation, I will send you documents to complete, including a fairly detailed history form. Once you have completed the paperwork, we will schedule a time for your assessment appointment.
-
(90-120 minutes): We will complete a diagnostic interview, assessing for Autism, ADHD, and other common co-occurring diagnoses such as OCD and mood disorders.
-
(45-55 minutes): We will review your report as well as any questionnaires you may have completed. We will have a chance to add anything we may have missed, and to make any changes needed. I will provide you with resources and we can talk about specific needs you might have for accommodations in the future. You will receive a finalized written report soon after this final appointment.
-
Pay what you can, $800-1200. Paying higher on that scale allows me to offer lower fee assessments to people who might not have the financial privilege to afford it otherwise. I am happy to offer payment plans as needed.
Interested in a lower fee assessment? Contact me and we can talk!
-
Are you only interested in being assessed for ADHD? The cost for an ADHD only assessment is lower. Contact me and we can set up a free consultation to discuss details.

Pros of Masters Level Autism & ADHD Assessments
They cost less and usually have shorter waiting lists.
They can still provide confirmation as well as evaluate for possible coexisting diagnoses.
They can give you what you need to access accommodations for MOST school and workplaces.
Paying out of pocket for the diagnosis gives you complete control over who has access to your diagnosis.
Limitations of Masters Level Autism & ADHD Assessments
Insurance companies usually will not reimburse any of the cost.
It will likely not be accepted as proof of disability for things like SSDI (although secondary diagnoses such as depression or anxiety are sometimes enough).
There is a small chance that a school or workplace might ask for a doctoral level assessment before granting accommodations.
